We are looking for a Technical Manager with experience and competence in Oil & Gas industry Quality Control & Quality Assurance inspection and expediting services.

Requirements:

• At least 10 years of experience as QC/QA Inspector and Expeditor in Oil & Gas industry;
• Engineering Background Education; (preferred Mechanical)
• English level: fluent in writing and spoken;
• Available to travel abroad occasionally;
• Previous experience with SAUDI ARAMCO IS A PLUS.
• SAP ID qualification with SAUDI ARAMCO IS A PLUS

Main responsibilities to be assigned to the Technical Manager :

• To ensure the effective planning, operation, and control of Technical processes;
• To interview and asses the competencies of the new Inspectors & Expeditors for ACES Global Quality Services and to support the Office Operations Manager in Inspectors & Expeditors selection and competency verification;
• To review the technical sections of the inspection / expediting reports (and associated documentation) to ensure they meet the standards of ACES Global Quality Services and Customer requirements and to verify that the scope of services is fulfilled and duly reported within the agreed time frame;
• To support regional offices personnel in resolving inspection / expediting issues in compliance with

Customer requirements within due time;

• To review the contractual documentation and prepare supplementary Project’s work instructions when requested by Regional Manager, to cover special requirements coming from a Customer;
• To assist the Inspectors / Expeditors to resolve technical issues during the inspection / expedition execution;
• To evaluate the Inspectors / Expeditors performance and quality records;
• To assist Global Technical director to deliver training to inspectors to enhance their competency and expertise on special projects

The candidate must demonstrate capability to perform desk expediting from the office. He will be required to manage and coordinate a team of expeditors performing both desk and field expediting

The candidate must be able to manage inspectors performing inspections, helping them in case of any issues arising from the field. He must be knowledgeable with codes and standards normally utilized in the oil & gas fields ( ASME, API, AWS…)  

Ad hoc training will be provided after hiring to achieve a sufficient level of autonomy by the candidate through specific induction courses in Expediting and inspection.
